Paniers et Lits

All of the snug and comfy dog beds we stock at Soho Poms are available in a range of sizes, colours, and designs – so there's a perfect option for every dog, whether they're big, small, or somewhere in between.

Supportive yet squishy, you can choose from:

• A donut bed – sometimes called a ring bed – is best for canines that prefer to curl up. The stuffed external ring also gives pillow-like support for their little head while dreaming!
• A flat, mattress-style bed – which is perfect for dogs who need extra space or prefer sprawling out to their full length.
• A box-shaped bed – similar to the donut beds, these have supportive external walls, ideal for replacing additional pillows. Given the rectangular shape, these fit better in crates than true ring beds.

No matter what you think your pet would like best, Soho Poms can help!

As your furry friend ages, their needs change. For some, this can mean health complications like arthritis, which can be supported with at-home adaptations, such as:

• Adding mats or carpet to slippery floors
• Orthopaedic or extra cushioned dog beds on the floor - climbing in and out of raised beds can become hard work
• Keeping them warm – this can be done with dog clothes as well as extra deep cushions on beds
• Raised food bowls and ramps

All of which can keep them comfortable and happy for years to come!

It can be tempting to chuck a load of heavily-scented cleaning products in with dog beds when washing to ensure your home doesn't have that dog smell! However, this can lead to itching, allergic reactions, and even avoidance, as pets often don't appreciate heavy scents as we do.

Instead, to keep your home fresh, we recommend:

• Hoovering and spot cleaning weekly
• Airing out dog beds – in the sunshine if/when possible
• Washing your luxury dog bed in the machine with a gentle, non-irritating detergent - monthly if you can

These tips will ensure your new dog beds feel, look, and smell good moving forward, without accidentally damaging the structure of the bed.
